Our Church of God Musical Heritage

​     Making a Joyful Noise is a brief history of the musical heritage of the Church of God written by Church Historian David G. Roebuck, Donald T. LeRoy, Benson Vaughan, and Louis F. Morgan.  This site is a web presentation of the publication that accompanied the Church of God Heritage Exhibit at the 80th International General Assembly in Orlando, Florida, July 27-31, 2026. That physical exhibit is now on display at the Dixon Pentecostal Research Center in Cleveland, Tennessee until 2028. The Dixon Pentecostal Research Center prepared the publication and exhibit on behalf of the Church of God Historical Commission.
